Avon Video/Big Air Comp!

If you were near Avon Co this summer from the 15th of June to the 15th of Aug you had the opportunity to make $2,500 doing a little kayaking in Avon new playpark. The town put up the money and what you had to do was make a video of yourself in the playpark and the biggest air won. This was a way to get people into the park. If you check out the video you can see the town of Avon did a pretty good job making a sweet feature that will give up some pretty big air. Check this video of Demshitz takin the money!

Dem rays somewhere in NV

For the last week and a half myself and Kevin Burkhead have been traveling the west coast, like Santa Clause during Christmas delivering fresh new kayaks to our west side dealers. Thus far we have brought smiles to the faces of our people in San Fransico, Bend OR, Hood River OR, Portland OR, Seattle and Belingham WA. Now with all this work being done it was of coarse essential for Kevin and Myself to have a little fun. (more…)

Big South

After 3 years of trying to do this river, running into problems usually with road access and or low water and or obligations with work etc., I finally got it! The Big South starts on the western boundary of Rocky Mountain National park and the 12 miles of pristine wilderness river runs through Cache La Poudre Wilderness Area. (more…)

Back To The Roots

Upper Blackwater

Jared, Graham, and I arrived back east just in time to paddle some of the classic runs we learned to kayak on. We ended up runing the Upper Blackwater, Upper Yough, Top Yough, and Big Sandy all at good flows and some of the warmest days I’ve ever paddled these runs. Another bonus, we were able to do these runs with people we grew up kayaking with. (more…)

East coast rain and snow

Rain all along the East coast has brought many great runs and play spots. I’ve been on a pretty good role, Friday it was raining hard in DC so no work all play. I headed up to wild and wonderful West Virgina to run the North Fork of the Blackwater. That night myself and a few friends headed over to the put in of Red Creek about a 30 minutes drive to camp and run the creek in the morning….

Hello paddlers Dave Fusilli here just saying hello from PA. I have been having a lot of fun in my new boats I,ve been able to put them to the test running the Green a few times in my new Burn and sending the 420 huge at the Gauley. Everyone I’ve met so far involved with Pyranha have been really fun peeps and damn good paddlers. Heading to Charlotte tomorrow morn with Jared for some racing then going to route the Green a few times then up to the Gauley to meet up with some good old boyz from CO. Hope to see ya on the water soon.
